That's exactly the problem I'm facing either I can have the image 'full page' but have problems with the text or have the image the wrong size and have functional text. say setting margins to 0 and setting borders like you want. There are also workarounds to THIS like replacing page margins with setting borders. RoryOFs suggestion to use the image as page background would make all these handling tricks obsolete but has a disadvantage that the image will only fill the text area without the margins. To write into a selected text box or rectangle you can double click or press enter. You can only select them if you have deselected the big image (with escape key). ![]() If you then insert text boxes or graphic objects send them to front. (In LibreOffice you can also click on the grey outside area) The best thing you can do is to press "escape" and then only use the keyboard to move the cursor and select and insert text. ![]() When you have inserted an image that is covering the whole page then it may be difficult to get the text cursor into "action" because always the image gets selected first.
